Truth. Towards the midpoint/later part of my career, I got to work with a bunch of people that were often young enough to be my kids. They sometimes drove me crazy. Sometimes I drove them crazy. Overall, they did keep me on my toes, helped me questioned assumptions, keep learning, and, I truly believe, did keep me young(er). Some fun times. (It was my peers that loved to reenact The Night of The Long Knives).
Me (talking to troop young enough to be my son): You drive me crazy sometimes, but after 15 December I am changing my name and getting a new cell phone number. It’s less retirement and more witness protection.
Ahh, the self centered smile of smug satisfaction* in panel one, knowing he’s succeeded in his goal of upsetting the woman who’s doing her best to do right by him and his classmates. The look of shock in panel two when he realizes its not having the desired effect. The sulking and running off to his confidante and mentor in the final panel at things not going as planned.
Misunderstood genius, or petulant little sociopath… you decide.

I usually can relate to Mrs. Olsen, but not here.
