I had two sons who, while going through the larval stage (AKA teenage), were very destructive on the furniture. Not deliberately, but they did drape themselves over it and lean back in it in positions not intended by the designers.

I got good at gluing chairs back together. I haven’t had to do it since they moved out.

I have a few of those.
