Well, for me, this is mostly true. My wife is a nurse. I defer to her on almost all my medical decisions. I live with an expert who can give me free medical advice. I’d be a fool not to heed it.
Yes, she has a medical power of attorney for me and vice versa.
A mechanic I was teaching to read told me he was having back surgery. The doctors wanted to fuse his lower back with steel. I never saw him in pain while teaching him. I’m a chiropractor. I tried to talk him out of it. I said I’d treat him for free up to the time of his surgery, and if he still felt like he needed the surgery he could continue with his plan. He said his wife had decided he needed it. I said your wife isn’t having the surgery. After his surgery I didn’t see him for a year. He shows up at my clinic and wants me to fix his back. It’s too late to do anything now; because of the metal plates. He had lost his job at the car dealership, and his wife had left him. It was really frustrating for me.

Had something like that happened to me if she did not take the risk I wouldn’t be here

Saw this online:
I said “ It sure is great to be quarantined with my best friend!”
My wife said “ Must be nice”.
I think “she” must be this guy’s wife.
