In this case patience is not really a virtue.

That seems about right. That’s about when companies stopped treating candidates with any kind of respect. “We wasted enough time talking to you; we’re not going to waste any more on you.”

Most companies do call back or email back or text back. I even had two job interviews in my 50+ year working career, where I not only got a call back from the company, but I actually got the call from the hiring manager! Now thats’ class.

Don’t rush him.

Patience worked for him.. 17 years of living off the avails of a lady.. but she’s getting a bit long in the tooth.. he may have to find a job soon.

Maybe he applied to a cicada owned company.

Why work when the government pays you to sit on your ass? I get $250 a kid (X6) free food, free clothes, free medical, free rent. Enough free money to buy drugs and booze. Sometimes, I have a little left over for smokes.

Better wait anyways…

Stop bothering him, he’s retired now anyway.
