I think the accordion is a nice instrument, why make fun of it.

Being like Jon is a talent itself, Garfield.

Sure Jon, they went screaming alright, they all hated your polka music.

And then he switched from the accordeon to the bagpipes…

And yet he didn’t get the clue and still loves playing the accordion!

There’s worse music than accordion: any kind of rap.

I remember one talent show I participated in. I had taught myself a couple of simple, rudimentary “twirls” with the baton, and choreographed a routine to “All For the Best” from Godspell. There was one other baton twirler in the show; a girl who had been doing it for years. The audience liked mine better. Hers had technicality; mine had musicality.

Jon, you should have learned to play the sax, did wonders for Bill.

For once, the crowd showed good taste.

I wish but I think not….

Well, they DID go wild. Just not in the way we’d hope.

Something tells me that performance did not land Jon first place in the talent show.

They obviously weren’t Polka lovers!!!

the accordion is not inherently annoying, one time my granduncle found one on the shelf at our local k-mart and just started playing it on a whim, he drew a legit crowd of admirers consisting of shoppers AND staff. When his impromptu performance was done I made sure it was properly put back in the box so the staff wouldn’t get in trouble.

If Jon was on “The Voice”, then all four judges would strike him out and make him the first person eliminated from the show. That is my guess. #notalentnoskill :)

you know, I wish Arlene and Garfield could announce that they’re either going steady or even marrying- that would be a cool change.
