Sure Lisa. Democratic house members reelecting their very effective Speaker is much more deserving of one of your totally unbiased cartoons than Trump spending an hour trying to persuade the Georgia Secretary of State to commit a major crime in an inevitably futile attempt to keep Trump in office.
Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. Yet you still support the party of ‘Proud Boys’, ‘Patriots at prayer’, McConnell (who, like the beloved leader, only supports himself), the cabal of Repubs who wish to smash your democracy? The party that has given you over 20 million Covid infections and over 300,000 deaths? And you suggest the alternative could be worse? What alternate reality are you living in?
How could a presidential pardon for his indicted/convicted cronies NOT work against Trump once he’s out of office? I. e. "Mr./Ms. X, you are pardoned for anything UP UNTIL NOW. Lie to us from here on & your F_______ ‘in (Fox News-in’) ass is grass!
Also: I asked my bank to find 11,780 (missing) $ ’ s in my accounts. They were less than receptive.
I duno doc, but it’s the worst case of the ya-buts I’ve seen, and it’s persistent. She has to wait days at a time, and even then it’s clutching at straws!
Pelosi facilitates the passage of bi-partisan acts that benefit ordinary people; McConnel prevents the passage of bi-partisan laws that benefit ordinary people. Pretty stark comparison, I would say.
I have always had problems with Ms Pelosi. I did not like her father. She’s savvy, experienced, intelligent, and determined, but, for my money, she should have been more assertive, less willing to accommodate the GOP Leadershit. Essentially, she has always blinked first and that is her Achilles’ heel. McConnell has treated her as a softie and, in the process, she has perforce assumed that mantle. All that said, she is the BEST choice for these parlous times. I hope she will lead the House, once again, to impeach Trump. Even if Ossoff loses to Perdue, she will have 49 senators to rely on as well as Romney who, so far, has played up his personal and professional disgust for Trump. Even if the Senate—needing only a simple majority—fails to remove Trump from office and, icing on the cake, to bar him from all subsequent federal service, those GOP Leadershit senators who FAIL to remove Trump will be remembered in two years, four years, or six years. THEY WILL BE REMEMBERED.

Could it be that Benson hasn’t seen or heard about the coming, “revolting” Trumpinista revolt in the House and Senate?

I understand that Lisa is afraid of competent, successful women in leadership roles. She was selected by the House for just that reason.
