I was going to say I’ll have a seat in the tasty fats section, but we all know which side that is.

Fatty acids, skinny acids, medium weight acids. I’m never sure which one I’m supposed to eat.

It’s a trick. Just because it says Bad Fats, it doesn’t mean it’s Good Eats.

Where does he even find a café, to sit in, still open? Every single eating place is closed for sit-in… Only Take-aways and deliveries are still operating…

I don’t worry about the type of fat—I eat butter all the time, cook with olive oil, and occasionally cook with lard (tamales anyone?)—all for the flavor they offer. The difference is, I cook most of the food I eat myself so I know exactly what’s in it, then I eat it in moderation (I use a kitchen scale for portion control). As a result, I’m slightly overweight (BMI = 25.6) but acceptable and my cholesterol is a little high but not worrisome. There’s room for improvement, but nothing I waste energy obsessing over.

Life is bad for your health. The longer you live the closer you get to death. The best you can hope for is that, when you are gone, people will say “They lead a good life.”

Even a cursory look through medical books reveals the industry’s use of arbitrary, or subjective measures or estimates and qualifiers such as the term “…at risk of…” . A careful reader can spot these. Remember: eat right, exercise die anyway. Happy trails!

Flip those signs around and they also indicate the Smoking / Non Smoking sections.

Smokers are stuck with the Bad Fats.
