Oh, looks like an invasion of the bodysnatchers storyline. If I remember that’s where the aliens failed in the movie as well. They thought humans really thought highly of etiquette and well behaved manners.

At last, all is being revealed! Like I said, this was definitely a fun way to open a story arc, as Bill Watterson did intend to initially throw readers off.
I still think it’s a dream, but now I think it’s Calvin’s dream, not his mom’s. I’m sure I’m not alone in looking forward to the denouement. I better get started on the popcorn!
