Oh, looks like an invasion of the bodysnatchers storyline. If I remember that’s where the aliens failed in the movie as well. They thought humans really thought highly of etiquette and well behaved manners.

This is pushing comics physics to the breaking point, but it’s a great story arc!

That is way to hard for me to wrap my brain around this early in the morning. Good luck “at home Calvin”. I hope “off to school Calvin” doesn’t write any checks your light az can’t cash.

In this storyline, Watterson really tested the bounds of his strip’s reality. I think.

O this arc, one of my favs.

A really clever plan would have involved cloning Hobbes, as well. It’s a dead giveaway.

At last, all is being revealed! Like I said, this was definitely a fun way to open a story arc, as Bill Watterson did intend to initially throw readers off.

I still think it’s a dream, but now I think it’s Calvin’s dream, not his mom’s. I’m sure I’m not alone in looking forward to the denouement. I better get started on the popcorn!

I was right. Its a rerun of the Calvin Clones. Look out Calvin, you are about to be inundated.
