A little “Plugger” doesn’t mind it if he’s heard the same tale over and over again. He knows it’s important that the tale is told by dear old dad or mom! ;D

How nice of uncle bear tell bedtime stories to his doggie pup.

And at the end you always get a “Good Night” !

I’ve begun some of my comments the same way.

You know the difference between a fairy tale and a sea story: a fairy tale starts with once upon a time and a sea story starts with this is no sh#@.

Sometimes kids want to hear the same story again, and again.

A lesson for the older guys in my coffee group.

Or Grandpa. What does change are the character voices used and that keeps it interesting.

I have a friend who often says this. When he does, I always ask him if it is number 3546 (or some other random number.) Then we both laugh. (Some can tell ‘em and some can’t.)

Plugger bedtime stories also sometimes start with “When I was your age…”

my story for my grandsons was: ‘once upon a time, yada, yada yada, blah, blah, blah, they lived happily ever after the end go to bed good night.’ i’d have to tell it a couple of times

Considering that you only have one story, you probably did.

When my husband would make up stories for our daughter, he usually started with, “There was once this little girl who…”

Once upon a time, there were 53 Chicago Bears on the roster….including Khalil Mack the non-knife….

I thought Pluggers started stories with, “There I was…….”

I just say “Like I’ve told you before.” :)
