It happens to everyone.

This could be your last day.

You could at least bring silver, napkins, and salt and pepper (in shakers). And butter. When I was a busboy, as soon as we saw someone seated at our table we’d “butter ’em”. It had to be kept on ice until then.

That’s OK, just go ahead and sterilize it all when they are halfway through. Covid prevention, you know.

OK, important work hack

I don’t know why restaurants make such a big deal of sending someone over with a pepper mill. I keep a pepper mill on my dining table and use it most meals.

so now you are gonna tell me I have to place the glass before pouring the water?

Having a job is nothing to sneeze at.

I wonder what the waiter’s dining room table at home looks like.

I bet he’d be confused when told “Put on your shoes and socks”

And maybe you should take their order before you bring their food.

Obviously these folks are new at restaurant dining or they would have waited for their salad before telling the waiter they wanted pepper.

Hahah! This was really well done…. probably like the steak the guy ordered. :)

Wow, that’s more pepper than I’ve ever seen come out of the grinder.

This must be his first day on Planet Earth.

I wonder if peppered tablecloth is on the menu and what it tastes like.

We’ll let it pass, if you wait to give us the cherck, after the meal.

Got a snooty waiter mad at me, at a fancy restaurant, when he offered ground pepper and I asked him why he thought the chef’s recipes were so bland that they needed added flavor…

Also before the food are the water, the drinks, the napkins, the utensils, and since they have fresh pepper then there should be bread.
