Three art exhibitions! I wish I had that problem!

We have 4 cats

They can be quite demanding of our time

Since I came late to this party (only a year or so), I missed all the earlier strips. Will the strip continue in reruns starting from the beginning as so many others have? (Calvin, For Better or For Worse, Peanuts, etc…). I hope so.

Exactly what I suspected all along: You are a multi-talented fellow. Good for you.

You should keep your Facebook page updated! So that your fans can follow all of your other activities. You know: some of us have multi-interests too, and would love to follow, or actually see some of your future works.

I would probably buy your album, but how will I know when it’s released if your strip goes away?

Oh. Then continuing your now usual one strip a week is too much? Can we get re-runs from the time when Ginger was alive?

You think you’re busy now? Imagine if the pandemic hadn’t happened and your group was getting booked for concerts, some far away.

Reruns? FB? Tell us where we can find you! I missed you so much back when you went dark after Ginger’s passing and was so happy you came back. Maybe this isn’t “forever” again, and you can come back to the strip in a couple years… But best of luck in all these endeavors. we love you and will miss you.

So, here is “my” take on the list. FIRST you have a cat, then all of the rest and by the way Congrats and Good Luck on whatever you do. I have enjoyed reading the strip.

I will miss your strip, but know how other aspects of life can take charge – especially income-producing ones … and cats! Congratulations on having such a busy professional schedule.

Well drat! I totally get it but drat! Hope you consider posting reruns and I wish you nothing but the best with all you’re involved in. Sad to see you go and want you to know your work is awesome and will be missed.

Oh – now you can’t retire! Homey knows you as “Cartoon Boy”! He’ll be crushed!

Wow, I know – the term is greatly over used, but it is so appropriate here. I truly understand your situation. There comes a point when something has to give. It is known as priorities. COVID forced my decision and feel so much better for it and know that I can always come back when things settle down.Best of luck and remember to breathe.

Rats. I was building up to quite the rant along the lines of ‘How dare you leave us’ and you defuse it by posting just rational reasons for not continuing the strip. I wish you success in all your endeavors. I know we will all miss you – and Ginger and Homeslice too of course.

We wouldn’t mind if you only put one comic on a week. You could do that on a Sunday. Others are doing once a week. We wouldn’t mind.

We will miss you Lennie. Could you please occasionally give us some new strips in the future. You have retired in the past but have come out or retirement to our joy.

Create and publish/display as you are inspired. Not that you need anyone’s permission. Just that you are in good company. Jealous all the same. Instead of slipping out the back door of the theater, make a grand exit out the front with the marque. Or the popcorn machine. Whatever.

Best of luck in your endeavors. We will miss you greatly but understand.

I’m so glad we had this time together, just to have a laugh or sing a song. Seems we just get started and before you know it, comes the time we have to say so long.
