Toward the end of her life, when we kids would come visit our mom, she’d greet the first to arrive by their name. Maybe “Hi Molly” (big hug). The rest would then be “Molly” for the rest of the visit. Including the boys…

This is in retaliation for the time Earl accidently called Opal ‘Aunt Jemima’.

Mom always mixed up our names. She even went so far as to call me by the dogs name once. Jonah was an exceptional dog, so I didn’t mind so much. It has been worth years of torment to mom.

If it’s tough being a boy named Sue, try being a girl named Ralph.

Mom was once mad at me and wanted me to stop doing something, she used my brother’s name, my sister’s name (?) and the DOG’s name before she got to mine. Cracked me up, but got my attention.

I sympathize, I had caught up the cash to buy a Chase Lounge for the same reason and have been suffering ever since.

Why would he stick his nasty shoes on top of a nice wood table in the first place? Even Roscoe stays off it.

Growing up with three kids and their three cats names often got jumbled when yelling for the cat to stop and the kid to stop them.
