I recycle all the plastic bottles that can be recycled. Or repurpose or reuse. Recycle, repurpose, reuse. Actually thrown out is rare. Same with all my plastics. Just some cannot be recycled, and there are limits to repurposing and reusing.

No joke, when we first had kids, my wife and I decided we didn’t want to tell our children stories about the tooth fairy or the Easter bunny or anything like that. However, when my oldest lost his first tooth, I impulsively created The Tooth Weasel. The Tooth Weasel would write long, outlandish letters in a distinctive script to accompany their quarters…and sometimes play pranks on them. These experiences made for interesting conversations on the playground. I had five kids. They lost a lot of teeth. I’d written probably a novel’s worth of tooth weasel letters before I finally let them in on the joke. But it was worth it!

Plastic is the real fossil fuel threat to the world. It just doesn’t go away. Plastic micro-balls are being found everywhere!

I still can’t believe plastic water bottles don’t have a return deposit on them like pop or beer cans do…
