Oh, I thought Albert was talking about “Doonesbury” or “Funky Winkerbean”.

Bill Nye recites this as he explains meteors with a lighted match in his hand. The match quickly burns – burns Bill slightly and goes out – much like a meteor quickly burns up in the atmosphere.

I think he should stick with the Macbeth theme. Everyone could get a bloody dagger as a party favor.

If you’re going for, “a tale told by an idiot, signifying nothing,” Spongebob is the clear choice.

I don’t know. A MacBeth themed birthday party would be rather unique.

This brings back memories. I had to learn this (and others) in my English Lit class in high school.

I clearly hear the young man say “Spongebob” with his elequent delivery of Macbeth, Act V, Scene 5,

“His hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

If that ain’t Spongebob, nothing is….

Both of those seem old fashioned at this point. I would have thought that the theme would be more like Adventure Time or Steven Universe now-a-days.

One of my favorite Shakespearian quotes. I generally spout it when one of them d@$^&d kids roars by in a 4-banger rice burner with open pipes on it. “…With a sound and a fury, signifying nothing…”
