Let’s see corporations put their money where their mouth is and cut all contributions to politicians who promote voter suppression. Yeah, didn’t think so…
My theory is that Citizens United v. FEC was wrongly decided because corporate political contributions deny worker free speech rights. Corporate donations are possible through the exploitation of employee labor. By means of theft, any corporate political contribution suppresses the speech of any worker who does not consent to the political donation. [Don’t worry. Almost nobody in the US understands that claiming the excess of labor has anything to do with the tens of billions the corporation owners steal.]
The hypocrisy of the U.S. Corporations is only surpassed by the sheer hubris of the party of the Failed President, who openly admit that they are gerrymandering and suppressing voters so that they can remain in office.
Want to fix this it is not hard. Change the laws so that ONLY AND ONLY living breathing citizens can give to any campaign. Citizens can give only 1000 dollars to any federal campaign they can vote in. So any citizen can give to a presidential campaign. However, if you live outside the state or district you cannot to that campaign. We carry this to the state with a max of 500 dollars for states. local 250 to 100 max for a campaign and again you have to reside there. We allow a second public tv channel for ads and have it free streaming. Campaign inserts for the local paper. If it is your campaign and you are rich yes you can spend your own money. No business, religious, club, labor union, or any organization can give a cent.
Republicans cannot stand criticism – even when deep down they know that their rich friends are merely posturing in order to avoid problems with their workforce and lowered profits from customer backlash…

I find it ironic that Mitch McConnell (The “Not so Great” Turtle A’Tuin) is still supporting the GOP (Elephants) on his back.
My apologies to Terry Pratchett.

If corporations are to be treated like people, can we put them in prison or execute them for their crimes?
