If Guliani’s concept of truth in public and in court were the same, there would be a much smaller chance of the FBI suspecting that he might be hiding something. Clay is right, the bats suit him well.

Now that Attorney General Merrick Garland has had a chance to settle in at the Department of Justice, we’re now seeing the wheels of justice turning against Team Trump. This week the Feds raided the homes of Rudy Giuliani and Victoria Toensing, two of the key figures in Trump’s 2019 Ukraine scandal. The only reason to kick over this rock is if the DOJ plans to push one or both of them to flip on the biggest fish in the scandal: Donald Trump and Bill Barr.

FBI searches home of Giuliani-connected lawyer in relation to Ukraine dealings, report says

Home of lawyer Victoria Toensing also searched as speculation grows about scope of investigation.

Victoria Toensing, a former federal prosecutor and justice department official, was the subject of the second search The New York Times reports, citing people with knowledge of the warrant, which reportedly sought her phone.

Ms Toensing had dealings with several Ukrainians involved in the search for negative information on the Biden family prior to the 2020 election, according to the publication.

These include Dmitry Firtash, a Ukrainian oligarch currently under indictment in the US, who sought help from Mr Guiliani, the personal lawyer of former president Donald Trump.

When Mr Trump was president, Justice Department officials reportedly attempted to block the Manhattan US Attorney’s office from obtaining a search warrant for Mr Giuliani’s phones.
