What color was Gene’s hair?

ARLO! Don’t you remember that near-miss of a flying watering-can?

People tend to make simple things difficult. They are also in a hurry and have to do everything TODAY! A couple of hours a day and you can get a lot done.

Trees and shrubs yield results over the long-term: beauty, wildlife, cleaning the air, etc.

We spent ten years cultivating fruit tress, berry bushes and a garden. Moved and started all over. But lessons were learned, some fruit trees aren’t worth the trouble and 22 blueberry bushes are too many.

Amazing what Advil and a good night’s sleep can do for your attitude.

As one ages, one’s youth slowly fades!

Just till up the flower beds and sprinkle in Wildflower seeds. Always a pleasant surprise to see what blooms next. And very little work.

I can see the payout for planting trees is less and less the older you get, but you have a child so it would be a gift that keeps giving.

What color is Gene’s hair today? And The Shrimp’s hair? Do you think we’ll ever get to revisit them? In this life span?

When’s the best time to plant a tree?  About thirty years ago.  When’s the second best time to plant a tree?  Today!
