Wally, cool as a cucumber..

Yeah, Wally seems to have been not sharing something with the rest of the class.

Wally, he’s not exactly thrilled about the change. Give him a few more moments to mentally adjust.

I’m betting…… chimpanzee…

You know, I like the idea of him leaving the suit on for a while. It would be quite comedic for him to be walking around, looking like a deflated topsider (or an accordian-squished cartoon).

At least until they get out of this mess and can relax a bit.

I wonder what he actually sees through those lenses. A different Wally?

Considering the size change and eyelashes, I am thinking a time/dimensional warp to Holly.

Aaron is the Master of plot twists, but the topsider’s retort in the last frame is definitely not what I expected. Years ago Holly joked about looking for the zipper in Wally’s cat costume….

Wally’s insincere smile at the end really makes me question why exactly he “liberated” their new friend. His argument to the others was logical enough, but his motivation may have been rooted in something else. The topsider is right to call him out.

He’s def not an anteater, or a crocodile, or a stork, or a collie…

Plot Twist! Aarons got me in a knotted mess.

No, he talking about “rejoice”. Remember all the stuff that’s happened to Wally, and then tell him to rejoice about it. It’s the same thing, different disaster, with the Topper.

When it all boils down to it there are a lot of gaps in Wally’s past. He just kind of there stumbling around like an idiot when Ally’s group finds him. He somehow survived. Alone. On his own on the surface that entire time. He conveniently does not remember mutating or even where he was or what he was doing for an extended amount of time.

One of Wally’s less endearing traits is his arrogance.

There’s a woodpecker in the Cardoodles comic that hasn’t manifested yet.

I better quit thinking that Wally is a good guy, seems like I’m about to be proven wrong.
