Had an English writing professor once who was like this. He didn’t like my position on a position paper assignment, so he proceeded to tear it apart and rewrite it until he wrote at the end “this whole thing makes no sense”. I showed the department head how the prof’s edits included improper grammar and destroyed the logic flow… turned out, that prof had a history of similar complaints against him, and he was soon selling insurance as a new job (I know because he tried selling to us former students – thought we’d be sympathetic).

It surprises me that their MMM tablets even work.

Nobody reads. Rather than reading an email that contains all the information required, walk over to the coworker’s office and ask them what the email was about.
