Only Republicans could see an apology as a bad thing.

Cena wants $$$$. China has billions of movie ticket buyers. He’s not groveling to China. He’s groveling to the Almighty Dollar.

There are like 5.5 billion other people in the world besides who’s in China. That’s a lot of business and other opportunities with in some cases a lot less baggage out there.

30 RepubliQan senators voted yesterday against the passage of the “U.S. Innovation and Competition Act” to increase U.S. competiveness in trade and manufacturing with China. And you’re complaining about this, Michael Ramirez? The bootlicking is strong with this cartoonist.

I usually don’t agree with Ramirez, but yeah, Why do super stars like Labron James and John Cena have to grovel? If stars are going to take a stand for Black lives, why not against oppression over seas? The Chinese are doing something the Soviets never figured out, they’re using our capitalism against us.

John Cena’s movie should be boycotted here. Cena apologized to China because themovie premiered in Taiwan. Money talks!!

Might be fun to see Ramirez take on Cena in the squared circle… but I suspect that Ramirez would refuse to back up his mouth due to bone spurs…

OK Ramirez, if you think this is important, how about you make a comic stating that Taiwan is a country, and then don’t apologize afterwards. Actually stand up for what matters, rather than just calling out others for backing down.

Cena made a very embarrassing apology to (mainland) China when he retracted, in Mandarin, his previous statement that Taiwan was a country. I suppose this backpedaling makes him eligible to run for Congress.
