It’s Independence Day, Garfield! Bar-be-ques…

I don’t sleep in on Sunday because I go to church, which I love. This Sunday I’m in charge of setting up Communion, so I’ve got to get there earlier…which, once again, I don’t mind. My church family is some of the greatest people I know & I’m thankful for them.

Tomorrow’s Monday, let Garfield have this moment while it last.

or just “every day is like that for him”, at least he is smiling for once.

I don’t think there has ever been a Garfield comic where they celebrated 4th of July, unless you count the occasional strips where they had a barbecue.

As much as he doesn’t like Mondays, do you think he will use that reasoning tomorrow too?
