I’ve been on both ends of that stick, and can attest to the fact that “TALK LESS” is the best thing you can say to an out-of-control fan-jabberer with personal space issues. It might “hurt,” but it might also put them back on the track to emotional maturity—and preserve your sanity. And it hurts a lot less coming from a friend now than someone else later…say, a potential employer.

Because if there’s anyone I trust to be an authority on who talks too much, it’s Dakota.

Harsh, but I kinda can understand Dakota. Sorry Phoebe, but enough is enough.

I’m noticing a trend of harshness in the comics & comments today. I guess things are difficult these days & we are liable to take it out on each other….

I’m going to recommend the book “Thanks for the Feedback” which is about how to take less than helpful feedback and still make it useful.

That’s not a bad tip, just expose in few words your theory, expand if someone wants more details.

Constructive criticism works much better if it follows a sincere compliment about something you think the person you are criticizing has done well…
