Why is it that all the nude beach promotional pictures show hot 20 year olds, but when you get there it’s all overweight middle aged guys airing their junk?
Odysseus struggled ashore. / Nausicaa spied him and swore, / “You echo our nudity, / proving your crudity.” / Wet wash was then hurled, which he wore. /// The Ithacan, now in a quandary, / became much more thoughtful and pondery. / “I may endlessly roam, / but can never reach home / while draped in the handmaidens’ laundry.”
See what he has in his hand? A bush! Must be a bush whacker…
He’s using that old lame excuse about looking for his lost ball as an excuse for showing up. Little does he know that Alice (she in the right front — with a very nice front) is about to unleash a 99 mph fastball to his groin…
When later our hero unravels / the tale, to his wife, of his travels. / He leaves out these cuties, / (each one of them beauties), / and thereby eliminates cavils. /// Odysseus drolly regales / all Ithaca soon with his tales / of Ilium, of course, / that huge wooden horse, / and the single round eye he impales. /// Of Nausicaa, though, and her girls / who glowed in his mem’ry like pearls, / he said not a thing. / It took Homer to sing / of them in the wine-dark sea’s swirls.
all have info, or links that point to more info, about the originally attributed artist (again, askart.com can be read in full for free on Fridays), perhaps in addition to what’s pointed to by the title URL. So far, 6 works by him or a follower have been used here.

To be honest, this painting looks like it was intended to hang in the bay of a 1947 gas station. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. They can’t all be Bouguereau.
It occurred to Bob that finding identical octuplets meant that he was dreaming or had stumbled into a low-budget x-rated movie set. Either way, he had no complaints.

So, what is Paxton’s painting supposed to be about? So glad his “Seated nude with sculpture” wasn’t used – it would be so open to misrepresentation.

Amazingly, just after this painting was finished, the artist was admitted to a sanitarium for exhaustion, and died shortly thereafter.
