Tarzan got eyebrows like Ming the Merciless

Now, Tarzan. DON’T EVEN THINK OF HARMING THE POOR BEAR!

Apparently before Tarzan, Innes, and Gridley arrived in Pellucidar the natives entirely spent their time being eaten by the local fauna.

It’s just Yogi trying to steal the boy’s picnic basket.

Tarzan: “In the comics I usually encounter a lion … OK, a bear will do.”

Tarzan quickly decides that he and the bear should be able to overpower the boy.

Hey hey hey Boo Boo….

Something tells me the thirsty steel of the legendary Greystoke blade is about to get a taste of bear.

Bear is good to eat.

Today’s strip reminds me of the scene from the movie Dreamscape where Dennis Quaid’s character and the President (played by Eddie Albert) are being “hounded” and chased by Snake Man and his cohorts.

So, Tarzan is going to kill Baloo?

I can’t bear it, this tale has more twists and turns than a pretzel.

Please bear with me, (which is totally different than “Please bare with me.”) but the strip is moving into a bear market…and I can barely bear this play on words.

But Tarzan wasn’t in the mood for either bear or long pork, so he kept on walking.
