Pretty amazing⊠There was no writing in 5,000 BCE. There were a couple proto-alphabets developing long before 3,500 BCE, but none complex enough to call a writing system. Around 3500 BCE the Sumerians broke through from their proto-alphabet (essentially record keeping symbols) and were writing cuneiform (considered the first real writing), but this looks more hieroglyphic, which only came several centuries later.
So, assuming all the evidence is wrong, and some civilization could write 1500 years earlier than anything known to man â how would Chiram recognize it?
