“Shield” of beauty.

Now you has did it Chiram. You has digs your own pit.

Chiram is in for the chop. And it’s not the first time Tarzan has had a lady fall for him….

He came because he knew there was a diamond, in a city no one in the outside world knew existed or the location of – but Chiram knew it existed. A city cut off from the rest of the world, whose inhabitants all spoke 16th century English, but Chiram could identify their written language (also unknown to the rest of the world – and more than a thousand years older than the beginning of literacy). Somehow keeping apes in a pit to guard the diamond makes sense.

And Tarzan never expected Chiram to pull something like that? After all they’ve been through together? How has Tarzan managed to live so long?

Who let that guy have a pistol?

Do the Hesi – Her have a gunshot Trauma Centre nearby?

I get bragging rites this morning.

Tarzan cleverly pulls Letha in front of himself to deflect the bullet.

Is the bullet lethal for Letha? Will Tarzan stick the handgun up Chiram’s, umm, nose?

I still think that Chiram gets to look at the diamond and stays there..

Oh the treachery !

Looks like Letha is taking that bullet meant for Tarzan, so scratch another character off this story list. Next up…..By Buddah, Chiram whose fate should be the most gory of all…..perhaps sent to huge ape city below the palace and married off to some smelly, hairy lustful ape? Male, or female, nowadays it don’t matter!

Tarzan grabbed the nearest thing to shield himself.

Whenever you fire a weapon, consider what might happen if you miss or if something - or one - is in front or behind your target as well as where a ricochet might hit.

Be sure Tarzan is clear of anything else.

Huh… I always thought Tarzan was too honorable to use human shields.

Evidently Letha is faster than a speeding bullet, to suddenly be in front of Tarzan when Chiram shoots
