OK, crocodiles can move pretty fast on land over short distances, but they are not usually carrying riders…

If Tarzan and Valthor are on dry land, they can outrun the pursuit once out of spear-chucking range. (Maybe not so if they are still in marshes.)

And somehow, I don’t think chucking a spear from a sitting position will give the toadies a lot of range.

They do not appear to be bow and arrow users, so they may not recognize the threat of Tarzan’s arrows, which could make short work of such a small group.

I wonder what evil ruler will sacrifice T and V to what evil God. T and V will free the people.

The leader croaked a low order now legendary among the frog military: “Ribbit!”

Tarzan is going to make them all croak by the end of this story arc.

Stupid Frogmen brought spears to a bow and arrow fight .

Gee what a ribbitting tale!

Hop to it, batrachian horde!

These “Frog Men” look more like pig-nosed creatures shouting “Ribbit-Ribbit-Ribbit!” at Tarzan and his Romenesque new-found buddy! Pluck your magic twanger, Froggy!!

The first fight Tarzan will ever lose. He’ll be too busy laughing at them hopping and going “Ribbit!”

Whereupon the crocodiles turn around and ate them all up.
