“Wended”, what a lovely word. We should use it more often.

SPLASH, FLASH, steam-driven lava got on everyone .

I wonder how many are going to end up “Frying Tonight”? And “Carry on Screaming”?

That’s a pretty shallow “great crater” Especially to be standing so close to the rim

Then why have it put it inside bag sand sewed it in the first place?

The temperature of molten lava is from 1,300 to 2,200° – and the way that’s bubbling I’m guessing high end. They are standing about six feet from it. Did anyone else look at that last panel and wonder if they writer and / or artist did any research whatsoever?

Nemone why would I want to cut you open, you old bag, you’re standing right here?

Does Nemone suspect something? Maybe she has just received the book she ordered from Amazon, “The Count of Monte Cristo”?
