We just let the stuff build up until you can’t walk from the kitchen to the outside without tripping/stumbling. Then we move the encroaching stuff up onto higher shelves, stack it more compactly or hang it from the ceiling. My plan is to die before I have to deal with it.
I’m cleaning out stuff and trashing, recycling, rehoming many things. But you know that old saying “I held onto it for 15 years and the day after I get rid of it I need it” well, that happened.

Have planned one of those Saturdays every months since 1997. Gonna get there this year but in Sept when weather doesn’t make the outdoors a trial.

I am so ready to hold a garage/yard sale again. The pandemic put that on hold. Time once again to move stuff along.

My folks always hoped my sister and I would each get seven room houses to empty theirs into.

I could never understand why mom wanted to clean out the garage when it gets hot and wet.

I love Caulfield’s relationship with Mrs Olsen – and hers with him.
