It’s about time the boy started taking showers.
…..now it’s too watery.
GLUB GLUB GLUB. Hey mom why are you pushing my head under water
That “deep” part is your fault, Calvin.
Is that Phil Collins I hear in the background singing “in too deep”?
Forget it, Mom. It’s never going to be just right.
Mom shoves his head under water. “But it’s just right to drown you.”
As long as it’s not too wet I guess it’s OK.
Is that how she adjusts the size of her husband’s body parts?
Here, taste the soap to make sure it’s the right flavor.
Show him how deep it is for a minute…
Wait til she pushes you under, Calvin!!!!
You’re still talking so it’s not deep enough.
Now, it’s just right for a drowning.
*ssholes and opinions, everyone’s got them, Calvin.
One thing Calvin is good at is complaining. Surprisingly, there have been times when he’s been at fault for not complaining when he should have!
Related to Calvin reading as a kid; relate to Calvin’s mum now.
Just take him out to the back yard and hose him down.
Anything to get out of taking a bath, Calvin?
Yes, Mom, you could just drown him. But there are downsides to that.
Time to scrub this mission.
Here, look at the bottom, see how it looks? What’s that? I don’t understand, “blurb, blurp, blur bur”. Could you say that again?
Too hot? Wait a while.
Anyway, by this point he’s clean. Except maybe for his face. A quick push under as others have suggested, and out of the tub.
I think it is time for ‘Mom’ to throw ‘Calvin’ into the washing machine on the ‘Hard Soil’ cycle. He may come out a ‘little worst for wear’ but he would, at least, know she means business ! ! ! !
Mom: “Too deep? I think NOT!”
Calvin: [sound of struggling and bubbles]
Mom suddenly stops daydreaming and lets Calvin up…
Mostly it’s too loud.
Just deep enough to………………………
Careful . . . she may decide it’s not deep enough!
Careful, Calvin. It’s now deep enough to drown you in.
Drown him while you have the chance.
I always loved this one! Simple but funny!
Mom is due some appreciation for not pushing him under
Did I mention it’s too wet?
You guys are dark as all balls. Sheesh…
Now it is too . . . glub . . . glub . . glub.
Now the water needs to be aerated. No, wait…Calvin fixed it.
When my kids was little I never let water in the tub that deep, I always drain in until right temp
Reading this comic makes me glad that I don’t have kids. I wouldn’t be able to cope with a Calvin.
Goldilocks he clearly clearly is not.
Here’s your chance, Mom!!! No jury will ever convict you!!!
