I read an article from a doctor who has young people suffering from Covid asking for the shot. She has to tell them it is too late! Such a simple thing to do and people throw tantrums about it.
I see at least a few Republican leaders finally coming out to urge vaccinations. I have to wonder, are they truly concerned about peoples health, or are they concerned it is now mostly their voters who are getting sick and dying? Darwinism at work…
If this is a rerun for you: Sorry to be a bother, but I can’t get this out of my mind.
I’ve posted this in another GoComics comment section, M2Bulls for July 8. I hadn’t seen these stats directly linked before. Though I expected some degree of correlation, when I tracked down the figures online, it was even more damning than I had expected.
~~~~~~~~~
VACCINATIONS THE TOP TEN~
A. The Ten States With Highest Percentage Vaccinated
New Mexico, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Vermont, Washington, New York, Massachusetts, Nevada, Minnesota, Kentucky
BOTTOM TEN~
B. The Ten States With Lowest Percentage Vaccinated
Texas, Kansas, North Carolina, Idaho, South Carolina, Arkansas, Georgia, West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama
IN THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
C. All the states on list A were won by Joe Biden except Kentucky.
D. All the states on list B were won by Donald Trump except Georgia.
Not statistical proof… but too close to be mere coincidence… for my suspicion about stupidity generating more stupidity.
I talked to a homo sapiens republicanus yesterday. He said he got the virus, but it wasn’t that bad, like a bad case of the flu.I asked, “but if you got vaccinated you wouldn’t even have gotten that.” “I trust God to protect me”.
Homo Sapiens Republicanus. That’s a good name for them, but I think I’ll just use the last 4 letters for short.
Why is it that there are more people in the United States more infected with a case of the dumb-ass than any other country in the world?
Everywhere else on the planet, people are begging to receive the virus protection vaccination but they can’t get the vaccines.
In the U.S. there’s plenty of vaccines, but the people are too stupid and/or too arrogant to avail themselves of what is life-saving protection.
Check out the dumb-ass MAGA Coronavirus who thinks he is a DNA virus when he is actually a positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus!
