Kinda like what Carol Burnett said about childbirth “It’s like taking your lower lip and pulling it over your head”.

“Man, that kidley stole was something else!”

    “Don’t you mean ‘kidney stone’”?

    “I said kidley stole, didl’t I?”

…Been wanting to post that for days.

They lived in caves. People wouldn’t notice any extra stones laying around.

Sounds like a transplanted fishing story. All he has done is change the fish into a kidney stone. Next I expect, he will be telling how big a fight he had getting rid of it.

When I had kidney stones doctors did several lithotripsies to break them up and remove them.

That was done with a laser going in through an existing orifice.

One kidney had a 13mm x 30mm stag horn stone. I slept though that procedure.

    Fun times.

I passed a stone some years back. It made me miss a concert with my band. When it came out, it was not much bigger than a BB. This guy’s stone was huge.

I think he is just describing the pain. A woman once described having a baby as pushing a piano through a transom window. Granted it’s hyperbole but unless you have had the same experience let that person’s experience go unchallenged……

Are kidney stones a random thing that some people unfortunately get, or are they diet related. Yeah, I could have Googled it.

The only time I ever saw my husband in excruciating pain, was when he had a kidney stone. His knee replacement was a piece of cake compared to that.

All the men I have known who have had kidney stones will carry them around in their pockets in a small container and show them to anyone who can’t escape quickly enough. It’s amazing the detail they can use to describe the shape and all. Still, I am sure they hurt a lot!

Had one, the first pain was like somebody hit me with a baseball bat right across the kidneys ( going going gone ) than 3 days later passed a stone about the size of a small rice crispy but spikey, very spikey ! Passed blood for about a month, fortunately did not get a UT infection , fun times !
