Every detail here… the play of light and shadow, the spindley spidery fingers, the elongated arm, all of it, is goosebumpingly >CREEPY<. And yet it still manages to be funny and true to Spuddery aa we know it! ♥️

It so hard to find good help these days.

He will never leave if Spud doesn’t stop taking his sandwiches!

Let’s be honest…the free sandwiches are the ONLY reason Spud lets Gary stay around.

Given the word bubbles – one has to assume that Gary’s voice is on the creepy side as well. Still, it looks like a tempting sandwich.

I could deal with the creepy part if only something would follow me around offering me sandwiches and soft drinks!

Gary likes to bribe spud with sandwiches to be accepted and fulfill his calling as Scary Gary.

Great color contrasts too. Will really knows how to make things POP in a comic strip.

I mean if you’re going to be haunted then something that knows your likes/dislikes and has good customer service technique isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I think it’s time for me to make my lunch sandwich.

Will Henry really knows how to draw creepy! That hand…! I haven’t seen something this creepy-looking coming through a window since I was 7 and read the Tintin book “The Seven Crystal Balls”. There was a scene there where an Incan mummified corpse comes to life and climbs through Tintin’s window – I was so scared I shrieked and threw the book across the room! (Didn’t do that today with the tablet, though – whew)
