The pandemic affected me in an unusual way. Recently I had the opportunity to go to an affair where it was appropriate to wear a jacket an tie. My neck was sore by the end of the evening. I had not worn other than “soft collars” for about a year. It’s a good thing the colar was NOT starched!
My wife hangs most of the laundry outside in the summer. The drying sun and wind makes the towels like cardboard with sand paper. I like the fresh smell but it is tough for a few days.
Then last week she hung her white blouses out, they were white when they went out, grey after a small rain, so many forest fires in BC, we live in Ontario, the soot in the air.

And why do you have a surfboard under your arm?

I didn’t know starch would make a shirt the size of a circus tent.

As Colonel Potter can attest, better your shirt than your shorts.
