Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your

I like discovering a show has a podcast and YouTube or other social media commentary and analysis to go along with it. Allows a lot more depth and time with each episode.
For years and years Argo / JJ railed about how awful TV was. It was all mindless drivel to him (except for college football). Now heās whining about having to wait to see another episode of their favorite show. Whatās changed? The quality of TV, or JJs standards?
We watch BritBox and Acorn. Most shows are multi-part and we have found that watching an entire series makes more sense as you forget plot lines, especially if watching a week apart.
The reason my wife and I bought our first VCR was because my work involved a lot of travel often taking on days of our favorite shows. We liked to watch them together. We also realized an hour show was closer to 48 minutes.
That and certain movies we didnāt want others to know we watchedā¦
Where do you fall on the matter? āPatience is a virtueā (WIlliam Langland), āā¦the waiting is the hardest part.ā (Tom Petty) or āAnticipation is making me lateā¦" (Carly Simon/Heinz ketchup commercial).
I asked a friend if heād checked out a show I thought heād like (NetFlixās wonderful The Kominsky Method; he & I are both old farts who started college as theater majors, so I figured it would be as much up his alley as it is mine). He said theyād watched the first 3 episodes of season 3 the night before. I answered āWe watched season 3 tonightā.
With TV āseasonsā now being as short as 6 episodes it isnāt too difficult to watch an entire season in a couple of evenings, if you choose to do so.

Remember that old AT&T commercial with Tom Selleck where he talked about on-demand viewing? The tag line was something like: Well you will.

Self control is a good thing. Too many parents never said No to their kids and the children grow up without the ability to say No to themselves.

Many years ago a TV āseasonā ran 36 weeks or soā¦at least 36 episodes. Now weāre lucky if a favorite runs more than 5 or 6 episodes.
