“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in” !

Gonna get that a lot, Kid. At least you’ll get a couple of breaks and holidays. And next year will be kinda the same but with different teachers [you hope].

Tomorrow never comes!

That’s also kind of the way it is with life for most people.

It’s like Groundhog Day. The alarm goes off and you’re right back in it.

Wait until he finds out it’ll be thirteen years and not just not tomorrow.

Learn to enjoy learning boy. You’ll be doing it the rest of your life.

an oldie but goodie

You’ll never know all the answers. There’s always going to be more to learn, especially after you die…..

My Great Uncle remembers being so excited to finish Kindergarten because he thought he was done so my Grandpa, his older brother set him straight, by saying how you have to go back the next year and the next year etc. With each next year my uncle got a little sadder and sadder. Funny thing is he became a pharmacist so he went to school longer then my grandpa by choice.

According to my mother, this was exactly me in kindergarten.

That is also true of life. Come back tomorrow to learn more.

And tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day to the last syllable of recorded time. Or at least that’s the way it feels at that age. Once you get older, time flies. And when you reach your 70’s, it races.

I’m 66 and I haven’t learned enough.

Well, don’t despair, but you’ll never learn enough.
