Why couldn’t Schroeder lift the little piano out of the sewer? He must be at least as strong as Lucy who picked up the piano and tossed into the storm drain. Well, I don’t remember how this arc goes, but it’s high time that Schroeder started playing a real instrument.

Poor Schroeder. He’s lost his reason for living and now it’s gone down the drain. He’ll never get over losing his true love.

In this evening’s news: There is local flooding in the Sparky Park neighborhood. City engineers suspect something in the storm sewer has caused a clog.

I don’t remember this story arc. I hope Lucy has to replace his piano. I’d say she should apologize, too, but I know she wouldn’t mean it anyway, so why bother?

I’d say throw Lucy down the sewer now, but she’d more likely cause the sewer to back up and flood the town than drift out to the river.

Maybe in Mickey-and-Judy style, the Peanuts gang could put on a show to replace Schroeder’s piano. It could be called “Singin’ in the Drain”.

How many kids Charlie Brown’s age would be aware of the danger of being inside a storm sewer when it’s raining?

I don’t remember this arc. Poor Schroeder.
