I can see Wallace’s thinking here…Spud did admit once he had a genuine interest but the thing holding him back as the idea of performing before an audience.
And usually the only way to conquer (or at least tame) that fear is to face it head on through experience…like so.
And hey, at least Wallace had the mercy of not putting Spud in a situation where he can actually see the audience’s reaction live as well.
…wonder how the school staff is going to react to all of this…
