A friend´s cat used to bury his shoelaces in the back yard. That was nice before work too.

“Sorry I’m late for work sir, but my son took my socks…”

Or he could pull his pockets inside out and stick a sock out of the fly on his trousers. :)

Bus? Dad usually drives to work.

Calvin is taller enough to get into the top drawer? If dad would put his socks on before his pants he wouldn’t have to pull up his pant’s legs.

I have a small box of mismatched socks I use for all kinds of things. The most recent was to pack a large pair of sunglasses in my backpack to go to my eye doctor appointment.

Last time this was reprinted, a commentator had a very good line for Dad to use with Calvin. “I’ll tell you who’s going to get socked – or at least swatted!”

He has only three socks? Something is wrong with that.

Why do socks for a desk job outfit have to be that long?

The problem with being Calvin’s parents is that they can’t possibly anticipate what he’s going to do next.

I always see Dad drive his car. Maybe Calvin did something to it again

Calvin will get an ass whupping. Hobbs will just snicker as always.

Dad, you missed the bus the very day you planned for this kid. Whatever, but the brat is a genius and amuses millions across the globe. Yours and mom’s unpleasantness happens to be on the dimmer side of this bright candle.

No wonder Dad started riding his bike to work instead of taking the bus.

Must not get paid very much if he only owns 6 socks…

Socks are not the last thing I put on. They’re usually first or second.

We did that as kids. With our own socks.

Just get on your bike. Riding without socks or even better bare foot builds character.
