Poor girl needs sleep. Volleyball and gymnastics take their toll, as does studying to keep the grades up for eligibility. And worrying keeps her awake. Big bottle of under-the-counter sleeping pills is the obvious answer.

Mimi coaches Volleyball AND Gymnastics at same time-season? Never heard of that in real life.

I think balance beams have some kind of padding or covering. Maybe Kianna is crying because of the splinters in her feet.

I’ve got to admire Kianna’s ability to be tall for volleyball and short for gymnastics. Also, is that Mimi’s sister that coaches gymnastics, or do all the female coaches in Milford come from the same mold?
