I prefer to watch a program I’ve already watched when it’s couch nap time.

That’s OK—-as long as it’s “new to me”.

Or how about I’ve been watching for an hour and just realized that I could have been zipping through the commercials.

He could probably watch it a third time and still not know. He must be letting his mind wander.

I do a lot of recording on my DVD recorder, mostly series stuff on PBS. I can usually tell when I’ve already got a recording in the first 15 seconds of the program. So, I delete those seconds.

Sometimes what’s on the screen is just background noise. It’s fine, Brutus, sometimes we all need some time to zone out and not think about things.

I don’t know if other Networks do this, but “The Discovery Channel” is kind of sneaky. They “mark” their repeats as “New”, and sometimes I’m viewing something I’ve already seen for awhile before I realize it’s a repeat. Luckily, it’s usually a show like “What On Earth”, that I actually don’t mind seeing many of the segments again…

Must be good. So many things are good, or even better, the second time around, especially movies……

Well at least he didn’t rent a movie and after the first five minutes realized that he had already seen it.

That has happened to me. Only with movies. If it has been a while. And it’s not like I have time to watch what I have already seen.

The Gasoline Alley group has a link to this parody which I believe mentions a certain rich boss. https://jeffoverturf.blogspot.com/2012/04/gasoline-valley-bill-elder-mad-mondays.html?m=1&fbclid=IwAR2btEHQOJcepLQP7hf2OOU__lEzh8bnTux5HO8t_j3V3oA1a_-dTiPhZtM

There have been a few times I watched a mediocre but not terrible movie; then years later forgot, watched most of it, and then realized my mistake.

Been there, done that. Although I must say in my defense that I usually recognize it after maybe ten minutes.
