OK-I’m about to harsh everybody’s warm & fuzzy buzz but this is something that’s disturbed me for about half a century. Why cut down a healthy tree in the forest so it can die in your living room? (I live in a remote place in Colorado; about this time of year when I have to go into the nearest town, there’s always numerous cars with skraggly 6’ fir trees tied to the roof with kite sting or such, heading back to Denver. [with very strict restrictions it is legal to “harvest” them in parts of national forests] I can’t help but to wonder how many of the poor ugly things will (A) wind up in someones windshield at 60 MPH or (B) burn some fools hut down once it turns into dry kindling.) Karma.

It might not have been funny, but Jimbo could have sat with Rose and held Pasquale on his lap.

What!?!… No music to go with the One-Horse-Open-Sleigh?

Did Pasquale want to sit with daddy in back, or did he want daddy to sit in the sleigh with him and put mom in back?

Horse drawn sleighs don’t go that fast through snow, so he really shouldn’t be bouncing that much.

The way it should be done : )

We see the same thing on the river, when families outgrow their canoe; but Daddy is always inside where he can paddle.
P.S. Today is Frank Sinatra’s birthday, Try a Little Tenderness, or Wee Small Hours.

We used to ride on an inner tube behind dad’s tractor.

Are the two small panels supposed to look like Jimbo as a teen?

Doesn’t look like that horse is going fast enough for Jimbo to catch air.

It looks like Jimbo is covering about 3 times as much distance as the Sleigh.

Always nice to see the family name in a comic. Or a road sign.
