No offense to football players, but why are they more capable of understanding and accepting wins and losses than others? And would inflicting a couple of CTEs help the losers to realize that they’ve lost?

The Rest of the World would like to sue the US for calling this sport “football” – when it is clearly “handball” at best! And secondly, RoW would also like to sue for 1st degree murder of the English Language.

Amazingly the US is not the most litigious nation.

“When you think about the 10 most litigious countries in the world, many people would immediately think of the United States of America (US). However, the Land of the Free only comes in at number 5. Germany is the top nation in the world for litigious behaviour. Sweden comes in at number 2, Israel is at number 3, and Austria number 4. The field is rounded out in this order: The United Kingdom (UK) at number 6; Denmark at number 7; Hungary number 8; Portugal at number 9; and France at number 10.”

With this tactic, football will finally be able to have games lasting as long as cricket matches. :-D

According to the classic ‘Barney Miller TV show, Season 6, Episode 15 titled ’The Child Stealers (1980) a time traveler from the year 2037 tells Harris that lawyers were outlawed in 1998. Given the circumstances in 1998, I think it did happen and we just didn’t notice.

Watch Judge Judy occasionally, and I swear half the litigants are on disability. Not surprising though, when half the lawyer commercials are about if you’ve been turned down for disability..

I always thought that Football needed lawyers instead of refs to debate the thousands of non-sensical rules. They still have problems determining what a ‘catch’ is.
