My neighbors have been having their newly acquired duplex renovated for almost a year now. It was purchased “as is”. One of them was telling me how it was costing more than they had expected and taking far longer. “Do tell.”

Of course, when it is finally completed, I will not be able to afford living next door. (Boy, I really wish I were kidding.)
