In her reaction in the second panel, Lizz is doing a very convincing job of acting like Patty Cure would.

The enforcer guy in the green jacket, standing behind Lizz in the second panel, echoes very closely the stiff pose of the guard who was standing behind Lizz in the police interrogation room.

Ten Cats, Graham Harrop, has an ongoing recurring problem with next day’s strips loading to the page which leaves us posting on the current day’s strip. It usually comes in sometime during the next day which can sometimes be all the way to suppertime when it lands.

A-HA! There is Miss Ponytail. Either she was “off duty” the day of the raid on Apparatus HQ or she somehow escaped. Maybe the girl they arrested WAS her and she had a reliable alibi set up in advance in case a raid ever occurred. I defer to my backup video…. (ducking flying objects). Maybe not! I thought Thunderchild sounded familiar! I looked up on the Dick Tracy Wiki and (apologies if this was commented on before but) apparently Thunderchild was a pro wrestler and Patty Cure was his manager. Jerry King Lawler was involved too! Storyline started on 2-5-2012. Weaving in old characters is a nice touch.

And so, just like that, the Queen of Spades, a.k.a. Blonde Ponytail, welcomes “Patty Cure” (undercover Lizz Worthington-Grove) into the Apparatus as madam for an “escort service,” almost certainly replacing Briar Rose in that capacity. Lizz plays her part convincingly, so far. Does she know where (I mean by street address) she is? Are the tech glasses transmitting all this back to the MCU (and, as a thought for the future, would it be admissible as evidence in a court of law)?

As the real person seems to be either black or Hispanic, it’s kinda cracking me up that the top notch apparatus hench people don’t notice that Lizz is white as Mr. Stay puff.
