I’m old enough to be retired. And my boogers hardly ever crackle (I prefer to stay warm)… but they were crackling just the other day while I was running (hah!) the garbage cans out to the curb.

When you’re hot you’re hot, but when you’re snot you’re snot!

You’re young if you don’t (or barely) realize you even have nose hairs.

It’s cold when the snow cries if you walk on it.

You know it’s cold outside when you go outside and it’s cold

I was walking earlier this week and it was so cold, I blinked and my eyelashes froze together.

It’s just not possible that a kid as smart and analytical as this one does not know the difference between a booger and the nose hair.

I had to go to Alaska once. At -17 F my nose felt like it was full of ball bearings…

i don’t swear, so boogers became my swear word long ago, and sometimes woodboogers

I am afraid I’m getting old.

We were in Denver with the eldest 2 grandkids for the holidays. Jan 2 it was 11° with ~6" of fresh snow – and I didn’t want to go camping! I mean, sure, my last winter camp-out was 10 years ago – but up until very recently I’ve still wanted to go.

Sad what I’ve come to……………

Now THIS is something an actual eight year old might say.

You know it’s cold when a polar bear wants your coat.

It’s relative.
