Most all my cats over the years liked bananas and some would go nuts for mashed canteloupe; I’d barely have it out of the fridge to cut up and they’ll be meowing and circling like sharks in the kitchen.

All I have to do is walk in the direction of the kitchen and

(((((((((( WHOOOOOSH ))))))))) Tigger is there! He loves cheese! Sits by his bowl waiting for a treat…of course I pretend to drop a piece …..

A while back, when I opened a can of tuna I’d pour the “juice” into my dog’s dish. After a little while, she started to run into the kitchen any time I opened a can. But over time, she stopped running in when I opened other cans – she could actually discern the difference between the sound of me opening a small tuna can vs. a regular-sized can.

Everything sounds like tuna to a cat.
