Workers should take a page from those GPs who are telling their patients that they will not compel vaccinations, but if you choose to be unvaxxed then find another doctor. Those doctors live up to their career’s rep as having the right smarts.

If I am not mistaken it was St. Raygun that signed the law forbidding hospitals from letting people die outside the ER for lack of insurance. No matter how stupid anti-vaccine nuts are, hospitals are legally required to offer treatment. How stupid is it to remain un-vaccinated? Pretty stupid. More Republicans are now dying of Covid-19 than any other demographic. I can also tell you this…If the former misdirected and uneducated president, his henchmen, the Charlottesville crowd, the mob on January 6, 2021 and many in the Republithug Congress, were black women behind on their rent, or living in a house where someone else lived before them or were black men who looked like someone who did something even though they had alibis and their DNA didn’t match, or a black man with an expired license plate or a taillight out or was jogging in a white neighborhood, they would be either in jail or dead by now.

My mom was a nurse. She started just before WWII. There were no antibiotics and definitely no MRNA vaccines. She knew basic sanitation. She would be appalled by the anti-vaxxers.

If the ship were actually sinking in shallow water, the problem of overworked doctors, nurses, etc. in hospitals (especially ICUs) would not be so critical — let it sink, take off the passengers, and then they’re safe. But the ship is sinking in deep water, and most of the passengers don’t give a damn.
