Never read the notes outloud until you proof them for “safety” first. First rule of any cartoon school.

My 7th grade wood shop teacher found a note in the hallway once and brought it in to the class and read it to us. It was very dramatic performance.

I always thought that policy a bit crass, especially after elementary school, most notes just seem to be made for embarrassing revelations.

Seventy six kazoos led the big parade/With 110 kazoos right behind/They were followed by rows and rows/Of the finest virtuosos/There were kazoos of every shape and size/

She’s already changed her policy on ‘no seagulls in the classroom.’

Wow, Wallace, I think you’re the first kid I know of who’s ever managed to “inspire” a teacher to decide to stop reading notes aloud. Most teachers, when they start decide to do that, are usually pretty dead set on keeping it going, at least in my experience.

Not that I was ever much of a note-passer myself.

And they say that Spencer is the crazy one! I’d say it was a toss up!
