Francine is miffed because Carl always manages to keep his top hat dry while letting her bustle get soaked…

It’s very fashionable to go for a walk in Paris in the winter with your umbrella.

. . . even if it’s not raining.

Oui, the French are different than you and me.

They can do it in the street if they don’t scare the people.

After having seen last night’s show at the Moulin Rouge, Henri walks down the street whistling a medley of American tunes from the century to come.

Just don’t do it in the street and frighten the people.

The Umbrellas of Cherbourg?

France’s Umbrella Revolution was much sparser, as they preferred to sit in cafes sipping wine.

Being French, they are both mares.

Somebody should sneak into the Art Institute and affix that caption.

“That’s weird, It’s not raining on that side of the street. We must be in Boston.”

The prow of the French dreadnaught SURRENDER silently slipped through the streets of Paris leaving not so much as a Sacre bleu in its wake.

“Don’t scoff, dear. He lasted longer than you do.”

He: “I dearly wish I were doing that!” She: “Why not? After all, its your horse.”

A painting I know! I used it on a Christmas Card one year.

I haven’t seen carriage horses do that, but I suppose it’s much like donkeys. That’s quite a spectacle, it’s hard not to watch.

Watching carriages on wet cobblestones was what inspired blooper reels.

Look over there dear, another Frenchman surrendering.

As they walked down Cliché street they noticed somebody with cake … and eating it!

The French have 3 eyes and float.

As everyone can now see, Ish has his iPad in the hospital and his wit is undiminished. Yayyy. . . :)
